TMSRoute is a Logrinth product. Your account, and everything held against it, is covered by the Logrinth privacy policy. This page covers what TMSRoute adds on top of it.

TMSRoute has no accounts of its own. You sign in with a Logrinth account, and Logrinth passes TMSRoute your handle and your email address. Change your handle, or delete the account, from your Logrinth account page; write to [email protected] about anything else.

Everything you enter here belongs to the organisation you are working in, not to you: shipments, their legs and stops, the lading on them, the documents and signatures against them, the events recorded as they move, invoices and the payments received against them, inspections, customer orders and the stock placed against them, the items, warehouses and stock movements you keep, the counterparties, facilities and equipment you keep records of, and crew with their pay rates, settlements, advances and fuel purchases. Who did what, and when, is recorded with it.

For a fleet it also keeps the Driver Qualification File: a driver's date of hire and birth, license class, endorsements, restrictions and expiry, medical certificate dates and the records the regulations name, with any copy filed. It keeps Clearinghouse Query dates and what they found, drug and alcohol test results, the Accident Register, the Maintenance Log, and the times a short-haul driver goes On Duty and comes Back at Yard. Test results and Clearinghouse answers are seen only by the organisation's Designated Employer Representatives and by the driver they are about.

What a seat can see depends on its role. Owners, administrators and dispatchers see the organisation's work; a driver sees the loads assigned to them. No other organisation can see any of it. The organisation decides why it records information about people, and Logrinth holds it to run TMSRoute for the organisation; ask your organisation about how it uses yours.

When your browser allows it, recording a stop stores where you were and how fast you were moving, and a signature stores where it was given. A signature also stores the image the signer drew, their printed name, any note, the statement they agreed to, their IP address and their browser. A delivery proven by photographs stores the photographs, any time and place the camera wrote into them, where the phone was when they were sent, the reason no one signed, who sent them, their IP address and their browser.

Stripe takes payment and holds the card or bank details, billing address and tax details you give it; TMSRoute never sees them. We send Stripe the organisation, the plan and the number of loads booked, and keep the subscription's status and Stripe's references to it.

Some records outlive a request to erase them, because the law says so rather than because we want them. A driver's settlements, fuel purchases and advances are held four years past the last of them. Freight papers are held three years past the last filing. Inspections are held from the day of the inspection: annual ones 14 months, roadside ones 12 months and daily ones three months, against everyone who made, certified or reviewed them. A Driver Qualification File is held while the driver is employed and three years after; Clearinghouse Queries three years; test results one year when negative and five when they record a violation; the Accident Register three years; the Maintenance Log a year, and six months after a unit leaves; a short-haul time record six months. Held records are never rewritten or deleted: a correction is a new record that names the one it replaces. While a record is held, a request to erase the account is refused and told so plainly, rather than accepted and quietly ignored. A hold sets how long a record is kept at least; it does not delete the record when it ends. Ending a subscription or deleting an account leaves the organisation's records with the organisation.

TMSRoute carries no analytics, advertising or tracking code of its own. Signing in sets __Host-lr_seat and __Host-lr_hint, which keep you signed in for up to eight hours and end after an hour without use, and __Host-tr_state, __Host-tr_verifier, __Host-tr_nonce and __Host-tr_next, which last up to ten minutes while a sign-in is under way. Your light or dark preference is kept in your browser. Nothing you enter is sold, and nothing is shared with another organisation on the platform.
